VT Launches 2nd Contest - “Weekend Warrior”!
We had a great turn out for the “Hometown Heroes" contest and we are excited to announce the "Weekend Warrior" Contest! Tell us where you escape to on weekends when you need to get away from your hometown. And what do you do when you get there? Check the “Weekend Warrior” page for contest details!
We LOVE hearing from VirtualTourist members and visitors alike. We frequently get notes just letting us know that you're out there and you're enjoying VT. Very often we'll forward the mail around to the rest of the team, to share the love. Drop us a note, we'd love to hear from you.

We staffers at VT were jumping for joy as we recently welcomed the head honchos of our new business partner, TripAdvisor. The expertise of each site is so complimentary that how could we not be ecstatic with this marriage? We will remain two separate entities in friendly coopertition; but will be benefiting from everything that can enhance, but not take away, from the special qualities of each site. TripAdvisor loves the VT concept and community and wants it to remain essentially the same, except for the fact that we will now be able to implement projects that have been on hold (for a long, long time) in our pipeline.
Great things are coming – stay tuned, you won’t be disappointed!
